Letter to Parents and Guardians

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It has certainly been an eventful month and an exciting start of the year for our St. Mary family!

Our staff is thrilled and excited to have your child(ren) back as we work through the routines of safe practices and classroom routines in this exceptional time. We hope you took a moment to look at our plan that we sent out at the beginning of the week outlining the changes to our school that facilitate a healthy and happy learning environment for your child(ren)! If you have not received the paper, it is not only posted on our Facebook page and school website, but we can also give another paper to your child.

Just a couple of reminders! To ensure the safety of the other children we encourage you to keep your child at home if they are sick, as you have done with your child in the past. It is vital we minimize cold and flu symptoms in our school.

If a child comes to school with new or worsening illness we will call home and follow the safety protocols set out by Saskatchewan Health.

As such, it is vitally important that we can contact you, especially if your child needs to picked up from school. Transportation must also be arranged as we can no longer as staff drive students home. So if you have not updated your contact information call the office as soon as possible. Without a parent or guardian to pick up the sick child, we cannot let them walk home or take the bus.

That being said, we are truly blessed to have your child(ren) back at our school. Feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions or concerns. Take care and God Bless!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Shaun Loeppky
